If your trying to get started on the internet with some kind of business then you need to know a bit about the process of what it takes to promote your opportunity online.
In our last few articles we've discussed some of the elements of marketing. In today's article let's put it all together without any particular marketing plan in mind. There are some required elements you must personally address if you want to fulfill your dreams in marketing online.
1) PLANNING: A good business plan in marketing is like a blueprint for a house you're about to build. What iminities are you going to incorporate into your plans? Sure we all would like the best, however, if you can't justify the biggest and best then work your plan to be realistic for your particular needs. Make sure you consider the plans affordability.
2) PREPARATION: Once you build a workable plan, then follow that plan until you accomplish your goals. This is not going to happen overnight! It probably won't happen this week or maybe even in the next month or maybe this year. Be patient and follow your plan religiously.
3) COMMITMENT: Stick with your goals until you succeed. You can't build a house in a day....neither will you build your online business by tomarrow either. Do'nt set a time frame for your success. Take your plan in steps and when you complete your first step, then implement the next step and devote the time necessary to make it happen. Continue this steady process until you become the success you want to be. Only you will know when it all comes together for you. Everyone has a different comfort level in their ideas of what internet marketing success is all about to them personally. If you want to earn "Top Positions on Google"....that requires a lot of work. However, with realistic planning, preparation and commitment you can accomplish your goals.
4) CONSISTENCY: Every day you must devote some time to make your success happen. You might commit a minimum of a couple of hours each day devoted to anything that is relative to your business goals. We are not talking about answering emails, playing game or surfing the web. By working 2 hours each day it will take a long time to accomplish your goals. My point here is ....you must make a commitment to devote whatever time it takes to meet this challenge.
5) DEDICATION: A couple of hours per day is not much time to put into your future success. When you work at a job, you devote at least 8 hours a day for 5 to 6 days per week. Sure you're paid for that time and you pay your bills with your wages earned. But look at it from a business standpoint. The company you work for was built by people who were committed and dedicated to the success of that business. They worked countless hours to make it all happen. If they only worked a couple of hours a day, their business would not be where it is today. They made a commitment to make their business happen by devoting more than just the accepted normal 8 hour work day. They were driven to succeed by their visions.
6) PROPER TRAINING: You can search the internet for information and try to teach yourself the proper methods of internet marketing, website design or any number of other things you may want to pursue. Pick an avenue that you're comfortable with and become an expert in that particular field. You must participate in training with other people who have already been down that road to success. There are any number of programs you can find.....some of those programs are very expensive, some are affordabile....do your research. You can literally break the bank on junk programs. You may or may not get some good information from junk programs. You must make a conscience decision to continue to get help and to educate yourself with the latest strategies on internet marketing.
Finally, you must have good quality contacts to market your business opportunity to. In other words you need sales leads:
7) LEADS: Don't get caught up in the worthless idea of purchasing leads. Purchasing leads just doesn't work effectively anymore. Normally purchased leads have already been sold to several people before you bought them. Why buy second hand leads? Generate your own leads in your own marketing system. This is the latest trend on the net for generating potential clients for your business opportunity.
